Come and Care for the Widows

It is our sincere belief that service to the widow is necessary and that many churches could use a helping hand in establishing or furthering their ministry to local widows. Maybe your organization has no ministry to widows. Maybe you have a thriving ministry to widows but would like to bring new energy or new ideas to your avenues of service.

No matter where you are coming from, we hope and pray that our ministry can be a blessing to you and to your sphere of influence, and we invite you to send a team to come and see what God has been doing through Widows’ Watchman Ministries.

Our Facilities

Widow's Watchman Ministries is located in Honea Path, South Carolina. According to the 2003 census, we have over 2300 widows within 7 mile radius of our location. We work alongside local churches and depend on other teams to come and join in God's work for caring for the widows in our area.

Teams come throughout the year and are made up of a wide range of people from youth groups to church diaconates to large private school teams. Our facilities can hold up to 40 people indoors while there are places on our grounds to camp for larger groups.

Bunk Houses

We currently have 2 bunk houses on our site, one for the ladies and one for the gentlemen.

Each of our bunk houses can accomodate up to 20 people.

Bath House

Our Bath House has two seperate rooms for the ladies and the gentlemen.

Each side of the Bath House is complete with toilets, showers and sinks.

Shop

Our shop has all of the tools needed for the all of the projects that you will be doing on your short term mission trip.

Cook House

The Cook House is where we prepare our on site meals and hold the snacks for the week. Our goal is to expand the cookhouse to include an outdoor picnic area and more!
