You can join in God's work and ours in many different ways! Your prayers, financial partnership and continual service to widows with us and in your local community will help to grow the Kingdom and it fulfills Jesus's call for us to live in love and service.

The prayer of a righteous man has great power as it is working.
James 5:16, ESV

Pray

God is powerful and has ordained prayer to be a powerful weapon for the Gospel! Only through your prayerful support of our ministry can we continue to serve widows.

Please join us in praying for the widow in need. There are thousands of widows in our communities who are lonely and, oftentimes, poor and in need. Pray that the Lord will provide them with community and help. Pray that Widow's Watchman Ministries will reach and find widows to offer them hope and show them the love of Jesus Christ.

Prayerfully search the Scriptures for truth about God’s love for the needy and His heart for widows, so that your own heart might be warmed by His compassion and moved to service. Consider if God is calling you to join in His work by supporting our ministry through your financial partnership or by sending a short term missions team to our location.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16, ESV

It is our sincere belief that service to the widow is necessary and that many churches could use a helping hand in establishing or furthering their ministry to local widows. Maybe your organization has no ministry to widows. Maybe you have a thriving ministry to widows but would like to bring new energy or new ideas to your avenues of service.

No matter where you are coming from, we hope and pray that our ministry can be a blessing to you and to your sphere of influence, and we invite you to send a team to come and see what God has been doing through Widows’ Watchman Ministries. The best way to catch the vision for service is to send a team to come and experience it firsthand with us in the Belton-Honea Path community.

Honor widows who are truly widows. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God. . . . But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1 Timothy 5:3-4 & 8, ESV

Serve

God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit watches over the widows and He cares for them deeply. In the Scriptures, He tells us that He loves the widow as well as the orphan, the foreigner and the poor. Our vision is to see the local widow served well, loved with dignity and held in high regard as Our God and Father serves, loves and holds them.

We ask that you would take steps to serve the widows in your families and community well. Do not forget their needs. Instead show them the love of Jesus Christ who made a point to serve and love widows throughout His earthly ministry. Serve them. Love them. Be God's hands and feet and join in His work to care for the widow.

I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:18-19, ESV

Widow's Watchman Ministries is growing and going through some exciting changes! Since our beginnings our CEO & Founder, Bill May, has kept Widow's Watchman Ministries going. However, we are now working toward financial sustainability.

Because we are a service to widows, we depend on volunteer service trips and donations to cover our running and service project costs. No widow ever pays for any service we provide. Our ministry is made possible through short term mission participation and our generous financial partnerships.

$10 A Month

Your donation of $10 a month for a year can provide a scholarship for one team member of a short term mission's trip.

$50 A Month

Your donation of $50 a month for a year can give a widow a new handicap accessible ramp.

$100 A Month

Your donation of $100 a month for a year can cover the average project cost for a short term mission trip.

$200 A Month

Your donation of $200 a month for a year can give a widow a new roof for her home.

Please consider giving to Widow's Watchman Ministries that we might serve the Lord faithfully and better serve widows locally and the Church at large. All donations are tax deductible. You may either send a check to our ministry at Widow's Watchman Ministries 749 Martin Rd. Honea Path, SC 29654 or send an online gift below.
